Sleep Positions

Rank your sleep positions in order of comfort (back, left side, right side, stomach), from most comfortable to least comfortable,

Mine happen to be: right side, stomach, left side, back.

Sleeping on my back would have me feeling terrible by morning... and probably in back and shoulder pain. Can't sleep on my stomach and never could. For some reason, sleeping on my right side hurts those side muscles... so luckily the left side works well for me or I'd have to sleep standing up like a horse or elephant. :giggle:

according to comfort, back first, right side next, back again, left side next, I move about a lot...

Due to my nightly use of the CPAP machine, I have to sleep on my back or the hose gets tangled up. I have been using it for more than ten years, so it is a normal thing for me. JimB.

I'm a "Whirling Dervish" sleeper. I should hook myself up to a generator and save on electricity bills.
Now, that is funny!! I jokingly say that hooking up a cocker spaniel's tail to a small dynamo would be nice source of free energy, at least until the dog takes a nap . GRIN.

I'm a deep sleeper ....

and almost always on my right side. (I have a small dog that wakes/attacks me, not a large one!)

I try to sleep on my side, because I read that it reduces the probability of snoring. I wake up frequently during the night, and roll over each time, as I don't want to be lopsided.

Right side is most comfortable.
Left side second.
Back is fine, but avoided for reason stated above.
Stomach? No way!

I almost always fall asleep on my back. Wake up and roll onto my left side, wake up, go pee, lay down on my right side. After that I'm all over the place.

I use to sleep on my stomach as well but not in the last four years, injuries cause too much pain in that position.

Sleep Positions

Whichever way I flop onto the bed, but, but, but, if a lady was sharing my bed, I don't think I'd get much sleep..... oh you filthy minded people, what I was eluding to was, a lady would most likely squeeze my nostrils together to stop me snoring and then wake me up. 😊

I feel safest crooked on my belly with my knee holding me up. I absolutely cannot sleep on my back. When I was a kid I was in a home where I was on the top bunk and the kid on the bottom used to reach over and punch me in the stomach or 'other parts' when I was on my back.

I love the left side but read/heard it is better for your heart to sleep on your right side. Anyone else hear that???
ok I looked it up..if you have any heart issues right side is better..if you have stomach issues or acid reflux, left it better...good grief...what if you have both.... this is why sometimes google is confusing...😃
