The lead story in my hometown newspaper today is that the town is going to purchase a dump truck. Yup. The city council voted on it 4-1. The lone holdout thought it cost too much. The one they're going to buy can also plow sNOw. The other truck couldn't accommodate a plow. With 200" of sNOw each season, plows on all the city trucks are desirable.
In other news, the council also passed an ordinance prohibiting signs on public property so no more flyers from people looking for lost pets. Up there it's acceptable to issue wedding invitations by posting flyers to invite one and all. No more of those, either. That should provoke some outrage...LOL
