The world’s first cell phone was launched in 1983. It was the Motorola DynaTAC 800x. It was priced at around $4,000 and lasted for 30 minutes of talk time before dying. It was also about the size of a foot long sub from Subway.

Check it out.and, yet, no Jetsons vehicles "jetting" around from place to placeAnd, both fortunately and unfortunately, none of these predictions for 2020 came true, either.

I love voting by mail. I have to walk with a cane and sometimes use a wheelchair. You have to request a form in January to vote by mail here in Texas. I called and got my application yesterday. I don't miss people almost running me over and the long lines to vote. Also the folks that bring their kids with them to vote and letting them run around and then asking other folks in line to watch them while they vote. No, I will vote by mail any day of the week to avoid the chaos!

Actually these apps can be a good thing for the artists. I've used two of them. One is SoundHound, then I changed to Shazam which is supposed to be better. If someone took the time to use either app to find out what a song is, chances are he/she will buy the song. There's a link right within the apps that will take you to a site where you can purchase. I've purchased a few songs that without the apps I would not have known what they were.
