So clumsy lately

Observing me would be like watching Inspector Clouseau. At first, it didn't bother me, but it seems to be getting worse. This morning, I thought I was watering my houseplants and I was actually pouring water on the floor. Then I had to clean it up. When I tried to pull some paper towels off the roll, it went flying across the room. When I bent over to mop up the water, I knocked over the watering can and a potted plant. Then I had more water to mop up and an overturned pot of dirt. I had to get the dustpan and a brush. When I tried to dump the dustpan in the garbage, I dumped it on the floor. I gave up and laid down to rest. My extra exertions had my heart pounding, I was dizzy and out of breath.

This isn't all - I'm also walking into the door lintels more and tripping over my own feet. I have a big bruise on my upper leg and I have no idea why. Talk about the "Golden Years"!

I have those days when I look up and say "Why me Lord!", LOL!!!

When I got my new bifocals I had more than a few of those days until we got used to each other.

One thing that has helped me to minimize this type of thing is to get rid of as much stuff as possible, clear the decks!

It helps to eliminate the trips and falls, prevents the chain reactions that turn little mishaps into bigger issues, etc...

Someday all that will be left is the recliner, television and refrigerator, LOL!

Good luck!
