I had an appointment for a well visit scheduled (rescheduled, actually) for April 15. So now it is going to be a Facetime visit. Well, since I have no major complaints, other than my treated high blood pressure, I'm OK with that, I guess. We all have to make allowances, right? The nurse who called me said they need a blood pressure and a pulse. I said. "A pulse? Like am I alive?" LOL! What she meant, of course, was a pulse rate, which is easy for me because I have a smart watch. I've also got a blood pressure monitor, which is good. I can imagine that during this whole mess my blood pressure has sky rocketed a number of times. This annual visit always includes the doc asking me to draw a clock face (checking for dementia), asking me if I've fallen, and watching me walk. Oh, and giving me three words to remember at the end of the visit. For the last three years it's been "apple, table, pen." No blood work this year, I'm guessing.
