Some events we are told never to forget Covid is not one of them.

Some events are preserved in memory: wars, slavery, atrocities. Forgetting them is forbidden.

COVID is not treated the same. Its scale, its social measures, the treatment of dissenters — all are being quietly set aside. Move on.

Do not compare. Do not revisit. Do not remember.

This video records that difference.

And those of us who endured ridicule will carry the record. Forgetting is not permitted.

 

It's a huge stain on World history... a terrible episode.... one that should never be forgotten, and I will never forget it !

Those responsible for the cause of the pandemic ..... those responsible for the false information, responsible for unnecessary deaths and fear and lies... want it forgotten.. of course they do... but they should all be brought to bear and face their crimes against humanity ...because those of us who suffered, will NEVER forget !

Amen- Accountability is the only way forward — not excuses, not selective amnesia, not “moving on.” Those responsible for misinformation, unnecessary deaths, and coercion must answer for their actions, so that future generations see the truth and, as George Santayana warned, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

I saw a youtube video then in 2020 from 2010 about 2005. A guy was in a meeting in London with VIP's and he wasn't supposed to be there. He said they said: China will catch a cold and they were laughing and it would spread over the world. It was genetically targeted against the Chinese. China became too powerful. They were planning a war too. They were behind on schedule. The reason was to control everyone. With first a war and then a disease people would want to be controlled. Then his explanation was aliens and I don't know what. Didn't listen to all that. I think they're just planning to get the antichrist on the podium who's gonna fix it all.

I'll never forget that about 1,228,289 of my fellow Americans died from Covid 19 when it originally struck. And over 6 million people all over the world died. I'll never forget or forgive all of the horrible people who ignored all of the deaths all over the world and claimed that it was all just a hoax. The idiots never explained where those 6 million people went to. I was working in a nursing home at the time, and I still do. We lost quite a lot of residents from Covid, from people and family members who brought Covid into the facility when they visited.

One day they were with us, the next day, they were gone. Then I would go home and listen to all of those disgusting people on television, claiming it was all a hoax. God only knows how many times I sat there cursing them.

Same here. I knew people who died from Covid, as did most or all of my friends and relatives. My nephew was a Covid ward nurse and his descriptions of his experiences during that time are harrowing. His brother, then in his mid thirties, damn near died of it mid-2020, and was only brought through because of paramedics and other medical personnel who refused to give up on him.

My GP worked as a hospital in-patient physician at that time. When I mentioned Covid recently, he looked down at the floor and quietly said, "That was a very dark time."

When I was admitted to hospital in April 2020 with Covid they still didn't really know what they were dealing with. I was in a hospital bay of 8 beds and each morning there were 2 or 3 empty beds with curtains closed. When it was my turn they managed to jump start me and get me going again and I woke up in ICU some days later. I was the first to survive ICU and made local and national news as they did a video of me being wheeled out to go home a week or so later! Strong constitution - must be all the beer and pies!

I will never forget because I lost someone I loved to it and because I am still reminded of it every day. I will never forget the carelessness of others and the ridicule of following guidelines to keep myself and others safe.

I know right now if something similar should ever happen we are screwed. Because I don't think anyone will ever care to listen to another government guideline again.

It has left a permanent mark on the world.
