Some Music to Reminisce By

For me, it's always 1963. It's the pre-Beatle era, and early Beatles. There's just something about the music that resonates with me, like no other era. Between the ages of 15-18, we are consumed with ourselves, and our friends, the rest of the world doesn't exist. Teen love is in the air, with all of its good and bad days. That's when some ditsy love song nails our emotions.

I love 60's music because I've heard it all my life, I was a child in the 60's, so my mum always had the wireless on, and I had some teenage aunties...

...but my era .. will always be 1970..to 75.... .. I was 15 in '70.. and it's when I bought my very first 45... what was it ?... Band of Gold by Freda Payne...

Of course my tatses have changed a lot since those far away days... and become more refined and certainly more eclectic... but I will always think of those early years with special musical memories...knowing precisely where I was or what I was doing when certain songs were played...
