Some stuff is done in soprano sax and some of it done in alto. I’ve only played soprano for 5 years whereas I’ve played alto off and on for 50 years.

I’ve still got my first alto since 1973 and it was made in Paris France in 1953. It’s had all its pads and corks replaced 3 times since I’ve owned it. It’s a collectors item now. It comes with a gold plated mouthpiece but I’ve purchased 3 mouthpieces since which are between 35 to 45 years old. My new soprano mouthpiece cost more than my first alto saxophone. I’m very into my music and instruments. If it weren’t for music, I don’t think I’d be here.

Thank you very much. I love singing and playing my saxophones. I think Smile is the only one that I’m playing my alto on. The soprano sax sounds almost clarinet like, it’s so high.

I really appreciate the compliment. 💕

Usually, I have ambient Bach playing in my art room so I can hear the music of the spheres, but I plan to listen to each of your tracks, @PeppermintPatty, as I perform brainless creation and need good noise!
