Some people will go to all extremes to get a picture on the internet... Have YOU seen any?

They don't impress me. Makes me think that their brains aren't working and they need medical help. Just because you post stupid pictures on the internet just means that your a stupid person. It's getting worse every year and the "dumb and dumber" society seems to be winning. I'd rather watch "Gunsmoke" or "Rawhide." Perhaps those stupid photos are a very good reason why I'm not on social media (except here but I believe that those mentally challenged folks aren't here.
 
A quick internet search will show that people have been doing strange things to themselves forever, either for attention, money, or just to be different. We can see it all easily now because of the internet but before there were the freak shows and some circuses that showcased such odd tats, piercings, etc..

BTW, I do think the tat of the ruler on the leg might actually be functional !

Some are attention and I think some are peer pressure. ( although that doesn't account for the truly weird things ) In the 60's, I thought about getting a "peace dove" tattoo. But, my common sense got the better of me so I decided against the tattoo. I figured that when I got older, it might look more like a pterodactyl. :ROFLMAO:

It makes a good ole' boy like me wonder? Who is stupider? The turkeys that make these photos or the turkeys that post them? Your guess is probably better than mine! Ha, ha.
 
I remember my late mother telling my little brother when he joined the Navy, NO tattoo's... Well after 2 years of different ports, he came home covered in tats... and they were gross... I had a friend who had tweety bird tatted on his calve.. I kept asking why??? Two of Lorie's sisters have little tats on themselves... But Lorie and I are both NOT interested in getting a tat... Have NO interest... All three kids have little tats on their bodies... I understand why some people like family members who have little tats reminding themselves of things that happened in their lives, or whatever, but I have seen pictures where women and men looking at a painting canvas... or a Lady who has her entire arm tatted black... I don't understand why they think it's attractive...
 
I am not against tasteful piercings or tattoos, but the people with huge facial tattoos, or hundreds of facial piercings are nuts, The will regret them when older. And forget the job situation
