This is what the road to Cessnock near Rothbury was like during the big drought 10 years ago. They were on 'the long paddock', the roadside was the only place they hadn't eaten out by then.
Some funny ones there I haven't seen before.

So i did and i don't mind at all Di, he most likely did drive through, those crocs sure have a thirst or is it the driver?

Jackie, I read - or heard - somewhere that our "king" brown snakes are rated amongst the deadliest on the planet because of the volume of venom they can deliver. There are plenty of myths about "deadliest creatures" though .....

If I saw a snake that huge, I'd be gone. I never thought I'd be afraid of snakes, but holy cow - that thing is huge.

It's only a python TICA, don't recall one ever killing anyone although I suppose they could strangle you if they took a mind to but they don't waste energy on anything they can't swallow.
Give us a heads-up when you retire OH, some of us will still be around by then I guess.

I'd really like to retire next year when I am 62, but a lot depends on if I can find some medical insurance that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to keep me going until I am 65!
