Some Towns Can Make Your Mouth "Water"...

Talk about food that "travels well".

Some communities can tempt your taste buds with just the mention of their name.

For example, in Tennessee alone, there are all sorts of food-oriented towns..
Such savory examples:
Ducktown
Nutbush
Strawberry ๐Ÿ“ Plains.
Sugar Tree,
Bean Station
Fruitland
Sweetwater
And even, Bakewell

Do you know of other towns with unique food-related names?
Around where you live?....or been to?
Or just want to mention!

Town Appetit!

Very funny, enjoyable topic, @Jace ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜

And great examples from @hollydolly ๐Ÿคฉโ˜บ๏ธ

I couldn't think of any, immediately, but reading Holly's post, it reminds me that there is a town named Sandwich, which is South of Boston.
So that means you can have one, on either side of the Atlantic Ocean!๐Ÿ˜†

There's Coffee County, in Alabama, USA. (y) ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

It would make a somewhat long, but pleasant road trip, to stop at
Two Eggs, Florida, (mentioned above) and then swing over through Coffee County, Alabama.

If we have a bit of extra time, could we please make a quick side trip, to Toast?:giggle:
North Carolina doesn't seem too far out of the way, to me. (For such a balanced trip ๐Ÿ˜ )

And a couple for seafood lovers...

Fishtown (Angus)
Whiting Bay (N.Ayrshire)

The area where I hive was historically known as Fishtown. Nothing to do with fish, but a corruption of the Gaelic for "Town by the moss burn".
