Somekind of tablet virus. 'Cut Paste' bar/menu won't disappear

I think my tablet might have somekind of virus. The cut , paste, share etc bar/menu won't disappear. Go through periods where I can't get it off the screen. I can move/drag it around the screen but it's on the screen like an unwanted house guest.

I checked settings, downloads, preferences can't even find a function for that other the regular task bar. I have to delete history several time before it goes away.

Aren't tablet, i pads, smart phones supposed to be less susceptible to viruses?
 

Doubtful that it's a virus. Many folks mistakenly change settings on their devices with touch technology. My wife wildly swipes on her iPad and phone, frequently, and gets weird effects, like the screen colors becoming inverted. It takes me a bit to figure out how to "unscrew" what she's done.
 
I don't know if this is the problem with your tab, but it solved a problem on my iPad: a second, frozen time was showing up on the lock screen. Couldn't find how to get it off in settings, so I googled it. A suggestion was that I had inadvertently taken a screenshot of the lock screen--I'm always accidentally taking screen shots, sigh--then somehow selected it for the lockscreen. Turns out that's what it was; I was able to set the original photo as the lock screen and all is well.
