Deb on the rocker,, remove a bit more paint so the buyer can get a look at the wood.

Don't know how booming the baby market is in your area.

My feeling why the antique dealer didn't take the chairs is that they have UPHOLSTERY. Even the SA won't take any upholstered items. Everyone afraid of bedbugs or fleas. My furniture is clean in that respect, but saying that doesn't convince anyone.

I'm not sure how to do that. Besides, I could go to a lot of trouble and expense and still not sell it.

Coarse sand paper , use where the paint is starting disappear.

Once you get the paint off , you may want to use a finer grit sand paper.

You should be able to find a small pack of sand paper at Walmart that will have various grit papers in it.
