Clean up after the horses in the good ‘ole’ days. This photo was taken in my hometown, but I imagine most places had to have a super, duper, pooper scooper.

I always wondered about that. And, as a kid watching westerns on TV, I thought, "Wow, those horses are really special; they never have to poop."

Did you ever go to a parade and see the guy in back of the horses with his shovel and broom? When our daughter was maybe three or four years old, we went to a parade in Ohio at a Maple Festival. In the parade, they had horses with Deputy Sheriffs riding them. When they passed us where we were standing, one of the horses decided to ‘poop.’ My daughter sees this and says, “Look Mommy, the horse is losing something.’ Like they say, “Kids say the darndest things.”
