Sometimes people are not helpful?

A neighbour dumped at least 1000 Chili seeds into my native plant Garden Bed.
I created an Australian Native Garden along a narrow strip abutting the fence line.
I inspect the garden yesterday for weed seeds and come across the chili seeds dumped at one end.
My initial reaction was what an absolutely crazy thing to do. Dumping at least 1000 seeds in an area less that 1 square foot..
I removed what I could but there are still at least 200 seeds.
Will need to wait until they germinate, then pull them out.

What an AH!

In my building we have one resident, I don’t know who, but she likes to scratch up any fliers posted about anything. The only ones she does not deface are flyers about memorial services for a resident. She leaves those alone. But everything else, she daggers it.

OK, I can see you being mad about a board meeting, but mad at the food bank? ??? What did they do?

On our local neighbourhood app... one woman has lost her beloved cat. She'd been putting fliers out on the trees, and posts with his picture on, and then finding them torn down the next day, so she presumed it was kids... until... she got a Doorbell video of one of the middle aged female neighbours doing it.

Now the suspicion is that this same woman might have something to do with the cat's disappearance..

So do you view that as a malicious act? Chili plants have handsome foliage, plus you get...chilies!

Well, I have heard worse. A friend of mine had a neighbor decide to start dumping cat litter at the foot of her driveway. Their houses were at the end of a cul-de-sac, and they had very large lots with plenty of room to dispose of litter. So, just why this neighbor thought that was a great idea, is a mystery!

How do you know your neighbor planted chili peppers in your garden? Are you and this supposed chili seed sower having problems? You do have to ask why someone would come down in the middle of the night to plant chili in someone else's garden?
Not planted, dumped seeds.
A resident must have done it. They were dumped well inside the unit's block, 50 metres down the driveway.

Do you know which person put the seeds there? If you do then maybe you can ask them why. Kind of funny when you think about someone eating enough chiles to come up with a thousand seeds to put in less that 1 square foot.

If you find out who & they explain will you post what they said?
Chilies have plenty of seeds. It would not take that many to amass so many seeds.

I have no knowledge of chili seeds, nor Australian Native gardening, but was there some ill wind between home owners, which is why someone would take it out on your garden? And could the chili seeds be dumps on you garden by some kind of accident?
No accident. No ill will.
Most likely thought it would be good to have some chili plants growing.
Just a little crazy dumping so many in one spot.
