Friday is my daughters 39th Birthday. Havin' a boil.

Grand babies and all.

Me and my daughter have had a rocky relationship, but it's all coming around..

I'm excited. We had a great Christmas as well.

I hadn't seen my son in 3 years, I got to hug his neck, He lives in Nashville.

Life is Good.
 

Crab legs, shrimp, Conecuh sausage (that's a local thing),corn on the cob, red potatoes.

Not everybody puts in the crab legs but we love it.

Boil outside in a big ol pot.
 

Oh I would love to be at that table eating! When I was little and we had a crab feed we would dump them out on a table covered in newspapers and give everyone a pair of pliers.

In New England we often call it

Traditionally, the same ingredients, but lobster is favored and everything is baked in a pit in the sand beach-side with sea weed for steam.
