Speaking of eggs....

Not about prices this time, just an observation. Meijer's had a sale on Eggland's Best eggs, even cheaper than their store brand. So naturally I bought Eggland's Best, thinking I'll finally get to see what makes their eggs so superior to others (according to their commercials anyway). I haven't been able to tell the difference AT ALL. Maybe I just have an unsophisticated pallette or something, but I just can't tell what is supposed to make Eggland's Best better. What am I missing here???

I'm with you, @caroln ... I can't even imagine what would make an egg taste different from... well, an egg! I've tried Eggland and others that are more expensive and my conclusion has been that what makes some superior to others is basically nothing more than the marketing. If we're wrong, I hope someone will tell us how an egg could even taste different than a "regular" egg. :)
