I’ve never been a big Burt Reynolds fan. Back in the day I thought he was good looking, but I never got into his movies, so to speak.

Earlier today I watched one that I’d seen way back in 1979.
“Starting Over” with Burt, Candace Bergen, and Jill Clayburgh.

I really enjoyed it! Burt was young, still kinda hot, but what I liked was how he played the character. He’s just gotten divorced from Candace Bergen (who does some terrible, but funny singing), and he is fixed up with Jill Clayburgh. But he still has feelings for his ex-wife. Lots of funny scenes and dialogue. Charles Durning is Burt’s older brother. Loved the early scene where Jill thinks Burt is some creep following her, and the school carnival scene is priceless. "Mommy, she said the F word!" :lofl:

I see-sawed back and forth…either I was smiling/laughing or I felt like smacking Burt’s character across the face.
