Stolen Car Crash Kills Three. Suspects Arrested 126 Times

Pinellas County is where I was born and raised. Things have really changed since back in the day.

We have a big car theft/joyriding/speeding/crashing problem here, too. I think part of the problem is that there are no teeth at all in the juvenile laws. The same kids are in and out like juvie detention had a revolving door (which I think it actually does)-- and they just go do it again. They steal another car, drive around town at horrifying speeds, crash the car, get caught and mom shows up in court saying what a good boy her son really is, he goes off to detention for a little while, gets out, steals another car . . . . We recently had another crash where a car full of repeat juvie offenders crashed at high speeds into a car and killed a mother and daughter. Those same kids will probably be out in no time flat. Makes me sick.

I have a home in Clearwater. The traffic down there is horrible and even worse when the Northerners are down for the winter. IMO, I think the area is already over developed and yet, they are still building both more businesses and residences. This is the reason why I am putting my home up for sale the first of September and moving to a less populated area, but still near the beach.

I was born and raised there but I can't go back because of all the damned Yankees that have moved down and ruined the place.

By the way, where are you from originally?

Sorry to say, but Pennsylvania.

Sorry to say, but Pennsylvania.

I figured something like that. But I can't complain too much. My parents moved down from New Jersey the year before I was born.

It was a great place to grow up in back in the 50's and 60's.

But it's way too crowded now. It's both nostalgic and at the same time depressing for me to go back there.
