Perhaps the last available disk rental service, Redbox, is now history. Just a month ago, with all the special offers, I could rent a disk of as low as $1, but the profit is in streaming, which also offers the more profitable Pay Per View, and Redbox has taken their service in that direction. Now $30 for an early access stream may seem high, but in fairness I should point out that this week, Redbox is offering 75 cents off on a $30 Barbie rental.
Or you can buy and own the disk from ebay for $7.
