Subscription streaming which is your fav?

I'm trying to decide which streaming service to go with. (Note: cost is a slight consideration not over $20 monthly) what do you like about yours?

I had paramount+ but the phone seller didn't listen to my instructions and it got cancelled. I'm more for movies, not situational comedies.

I do enjoy cop dramas and investigation type dramas (NCIS, Law & Order, Blue Bloods)

I have the item below coming. I'm a touch excited to see if it's true to description. What say you experienced ones?images (1).jpeg

None of them are my favorite. I just pick one until I can't find anything worth while to watch then move on to the next. Right now I'm just giving it a rest until some new stuff comes out.

I do have Amazon Prime just because I'm a full time member. Thru prime you can get free trails on other services and/or subscribe to them. I find this very handy. You can cancel these subscriptions whenever through your online account.

I have limited experience with them. I have used Hula, HBO Max, Netflix and Amazon. I like Amazon the best. It comes with Prime and has a bunch of other options /channels for streaming that are a decent price. With Amazon Prime most of the add on channels come with a free week of streaming. That creates a lot of viewing opportunities.

Well, we've already got a winner. Prime. Why?

1 Select your qualifying government assistance program and upload a photo of your EBT card or eligibility letter.

2 Enter a payment method to use after your free trial ends.

3Y You can now unlock everything Prime has to offer.

At $7 a month. Well that's an easy choice. So, guess it's prime.....

Forgot to include, I'm a vandweller for now. Maybe an apt one day.

Try Kanopy. They have a good selection of movies, and all you need is a library card to access them! :)

save your money, the costs mount up and ever increase.

Lots of free material and old films.

We listen to streaming classical music and Argentina Tango, and the excellent podcasts.

In EU and Switzerland there are free open HD broadcasts.

We use Netflix and prime video.
However, this past year I paid for the PBS Passport (public broadcasting service for those not in USA) and have been surprised at how much I enjoy and watch it.

I can only afford one, and had to choose carefully. I decided on YouTube Premium. Maybe it doesn't have the best/latest movies and TV shows, but there are some gems (from all over the world). Plus, YouTube has an incredible variety of instructional videos and other content.

I agree about instructional videos. When I replaced my passenger window (previous van), I watched two to get the right info. Still, scary to insert a window, then force a 65 degree turn to get it in correct position.

But it worked and I didn't break it.

I subscribe to PBS, too. They have some great documentaries — especially the Ken Burns documentaries. I was binge watching them for a while. :)

In my opinion that is the best thing about streaming. Because there are no contracts you can cancel and move to a different service every month if you want to.

I have a ROKU now for several years but I don't subscribe to anything. Very happy buying my old westerns from Amazon (Gunsmoke, Rawhide, Wagon Train, etc.)
