It was such a special trip.
My SIL is a beautiful, caring lady who has been battling breast cancer and is on her second round of chemo. I've known her now for 32 years, before she got married and any of her kids were born. My hubby and I went to stay with her, along with my BIL and three of her children that still live at home. We spent a few days with her and took her to get her chemo this morning before flying home. She is still struggling with losing her hair because it was so thick and beautiful, but we say she looks beautiful without it.
We have a February cruise scheduled but after that we will be visiting her in March and April to take her to chemo and support her. So far, so good.
Here is a pic of her with my hubby (on the right) and his brother. She says she looks like a "pirate" with the head scarf. We disagree.
