Suggesting a New Forum and Adopting It

If you are knowledgeable or passionate in a subject and want to have a new forum created, please feel free to suggest it by posting a suggestion thread or starting a conversation with me. It can be a hobby, a place, your city, etc. You will moderate it. Don't worry about the workload of moderation, our philosophy is "Less is more." The moderation of a single forum is minimal to none.

This is inspired by the Word-of-the-day forum, speaking of which, we need more participants badly, please join us. If you are a frequent WOTD player, you can break some forum rules without consequences.

Wow! I love it!

Kudos to you for extending the offer of the creation of a new forum for those who may be interested. There's nothing like belonging to a forum where members along with Admins and Moderators all work together as one, and as for seeing the positives related to, one doesn't have to look any farther than SF.

This forum speaks for itself in spades, and I'm proud to be able to call it my home away from home.

Thank you to yourself for all that you do, and an extended thanks to the superb group of Moderators we have here as well!

Ever since you posted this thread I have given considerable thought to the idea of a new forum, one of which would encompass the unexplained, unsolved mysteries, missing persons, etc.

I wanted to run my idea past you (right here) ahead of time, before moving forward to garner a consensus as to members interest in such a forum.

I look forward to hearing back from you.
