Does anyone have any plans for this Summer? I always want to go swimming but haven't for a few years because I haven't had anyone to go with. Poor, poor pitiful me. lol. I may have a man to go with. Been writing to one who lives nearby who seems nice. I would also like to go on some picnics in the park and take some nice long walks in the park, maybe go on the Ferry Boat Ride again. I'd like to go to some of the summer arts and crafts festivals that are very near me and then of course go to the July 4th cook out. What does everyone have planned or what do you want to do?

I like what you have planned.
Honestly, I just enjoy being out of doors in sunshine and warm temps with no snow to shovel. I'm easy to please. But a trip to the seascoast to sightsee is always a favorite summer thing for me to do. Concerts on the Esplanade, picnics, pleasant day hikes to nowhere in particular.I love a summer concert! I haven't been sight seeing in so long, it's a lot of fun chic!! I'm so glad it's so nice outside now!I like what you have planned.

My plans are to stay indoors ad hope for thick cloud!

My plans were to make my way to the beach, but we for the past few days have been under sever weather and hurricane, tornado watch, so, my plans are shelved till this mess passes. Guess I should have gone to beach the other day when it was sunny.
I did go to one of my usual meetup dancing events this past weekend we met for a light dinner prior to. There will be concerts on the beach, dinner and other dancing events to come, but I most look forward to spending time at the beach.

Sounds like fun April!
I guess you missed my thread about my area. Not having so much fun listening to that wind whistling outside my window, very eerie sounding.
PS, I must give credit to out power company, they updated the lines a couple of months ago, I'm stunned the power over this way is still on, it's out in other areas in the county and city..
Yeah, those winds sound scary.

oh, not the ones in the videos, I'm talking about the ones I hear now, those earlier ones were milder.
The weather is not exactly nice in summer where I live. Very hot and very muggy. We get a few days of low humidity each summer, with some breeze. Today I was out with a friend and the day was overcast and the humidity so high you couldn't stick your nose out the door without starting to sweat. It's like, Is it me sweating, or is it just the damp air? I prefer hotter, dry weather to the summer-long mugginess!
Of course, if I had a beach nearby, I wouldn't mind the heat or the humidity ....

I don't do well at all in the heat. I'd love to go to the seashore once again and just look out at the ocean.
