I learned this from my Father.
I was at my young niece's Engagement Party today and they had a jar where you could write down words of wisdom for the new bride and groom to be. They will open all of the notes after they get married.
Life will throw you a lot of curve balls over the years...deaths in the family...perhaps financial issues...falling out of love...etc. It can be a long and complicated adventure, this marriage business. Remain cool for the big stuff so you can learn to ride those waves when they start to hit the shore.
