When archeologists and volunteers started digging, they were astonished to find a treasure: A 1st-century synagogue, one of only seven in Israel - and in the entire world.
"This is the first synagogue ever excavated where Jesus walked and preached," says the father, calling it "hugely important" for both Jews and Christians.
 

Interesting. Around Easter there are more shows on TV about Israel and excavations. I always enjoy watching them.
 
Very interesting. My atheist brother took a trip to Israel and loved it. I'm not a Christian or an atheist but I do believe there was probably a prophet named Jesus. I'd love to visit Jerusalem and that whole area.
