Talking Cars by 2017

Sounds like (from reading the article) that 'for safety reasons' someone is looking at the possibility that in the future, all vehicles speed and their location will be monitored by some government agency. How true this is I don't know. I don't think I'd want to be on a radar screen, blipping along... with prying eyes watching my every move, as I run to the market. I can't see anyone in the public sector approving such legislation that makes it mandatory this surveillance devise be installed on every vehicle. Outrageous & ridiculous.

My daughter and I hired a car when visiting my island home last August. The car would talk to you until we found out how to disable the function, it was really annoying!
