Tasmanian woman gives birth after “Cryptic” Pregnancy

Actually, have experienced it twice. 1st one was a 15 YO hiding in the bathroom at home. The Dad lost his mind when we finally figured out what was happening. 2nd one was a lady that already had 2 children, came to the ER. She thought the movements she felt was just gas.
Both were fairly overweight and complaining of cramping abdominal pain. Both had healthy but underweight girls.

Could have been worse. Mother Leeds gave birth to the Jersey Devil. At least this woman didn’t birth a Tasmanian Devil… 🙀

That was my feeling, as part of my first labor, that I desperately had to go to the bathroom. I even screamed it on the delivery table! Of course, I knew I was pregnant, in labor, but that was one of my main feelings. I thought I was about to take a dump on the delivery table and I would have to add embarrassment to the torture. Wrong, but that was my feeling. The very first thing my baby did was crap on the way out! I must have been feeling his distress :ROFLMAO:

Giving birth is messy.

Not quite to the extreme of not knowing until in labour - but I have seen some very late pregnancy diagnoses - the latest I recall was 37 weeks.
