He was well loved both in character and in real life. A former sumo wrestler, Taylor captured the heart of executive producer Peter Lenkov as soon as he saw him and Lenkov said he knew he wanted Taylor to be a regular on the show. He had a integral part in the show as the guy to go to when the Five-0 team needed inside information on criminals they were pursuing and when they wanted some good food from Kamekona's food truck. He is also described as a "gentle giant". As of yet, no cause of death was given. Rest in paradise Taylor.
