ORLANDO, Fla. - One week after 17-year-old Anna Kepner of Titusville died aboard the Carnival Horizon, the FBI investigation into her death continues with few answers for her family.

What we know:

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office released Kepner’s time of death at 11:17 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, while the ship was at sea.

The vessel did not dock in Miami until nearly 24 hours later. Federal authorities have not indicated how she died, and the FBI said Thursday there were no new updates.

I wonder if it was suicide and that's why they're holding back information.

from that link:
"The FBI is investigating, but Anna Kepner’s family says they have received few details."

IMHO, if it was suicide, the family would have details, and the FBI would not be involved.

* WARNING In really poor taste*

Is Kathie Lee Gifford a suspect?

Boy, I will say there are few details. Maybe the family should hire a PD for about a week and see what they can dig up.

Details have been trickling in. The step brother is considered a suspect. It was revealed that her cause of death was asphyxiation and she was found in her cabin wrapped in a blanket under life jackets. Her grandparents spoke about it within the last couple of days. Her grandmother said when interviewed the step brother was so upset, he was almost incoherent. She indicated that at this point the family just wants to heal. I couldn't tell whether she believes he committed the murder or not.
