Heard about it but have no intention of buying...just not something I am interested in. We have eaten a Boursin cheese that had the word truffle in the taste and it was pretty good but we get tired of these things after awhile.

I can easily cook with good Olive Oil & it easily suffices my culinary needs. Never any other thing needed.
I don't need Caviar & Burbon either.

The boursin probably had black truffle. Truffle oils are expensive, the cheaper ones tend to be flavoured with a synthetic compound which is less flavoursome and does not have the aroma of real truffles nor that of truffle oil made from raw truffles. If you decide to buy some and you like mushrooms, it's very nice as a dressing for mushroom pasta.
