Terrible Xmas Presents For The Opposite Sex

First Christmas I was married to my first wife and she was pregnant with our first child, gifts weren't something I had much experience with up to that point. She mentioned at some point in our day-to-day life it would be nice if she had a scale to keep track of her weight. So I thought it was a great idea! Yeah, a hard lesson, one you can never live down... ever!

A mop.
Mouthwash.
Brakes.
A treadmill.
Laundry soap.
To that you can add:

Any sort of utensil, no matter how expensive.
Cosmetic surgery vouchers.
Socks.
Sexy lingerie. Women like to buy their own lingerie, mostly because anything a man buys tends to be a) about as classy as tinsel b) too small c) highly flammable and d) designed for a Pussycat Doll.
Any form of anti-ageing cream. (If she suggests it, beware)It’s a trap.
An exercise bike.
Spanx things. You know, the knickers that pull in your fatty bits and make you thinner.
Worse: Spanx that is wrapped in a package with a box of her favourite luxury chocolates.

I got a cheap "vacuum broom" for Christmas several years ago from a guy I was dating. The be honest, though, I had asked for one.

When we broke up, he asked for it back, on the basis that he had paid for it. He didn't offer to give back his Christmas present, though.
Amazing how cheap and 'one-way' some people can be. My EX wanted my $250 wedding band back(that we bought with my credit card) but she flat refused to give back her $6500 ring(with 1 carat marquise diamond & baguettes) that we bought on contract from a jeweler in my name.
...but I don't hold that against her. :ROFLMAO:

Okay- my SO is having certain "health issues" that are not uncommon in older women, and after a little online research I found a device to help her. It was about $600, and I asked if she was planning on paying for it. She asked me to pay for it, and I said "Okay, and Merry Christmas". It should be here next week. Should I gift wrap it??
