Terror related attack in Detriot? Synagogue leader stabbed to death

This is so sad. When we have what is basically a Holy War going on and people on both sides are ignorant of the facts, this is what happens. Horrible. I'm pretty sure this was a hate crime, but I will be glad if I'm proven wrong.

A different report suggested that she’d been stabbed in her house and crawled outside. Until the facts come out, it’s all speculation.

I don't like the phrase "terror attack", because that has larger connotations. I think the better term is "hate attack".
Sadly, this has increased greatly since the Israel conflict begun.

Antisemitic incidents 'quadruple in UK' since Hamas attack in Israel
The last paragraph of the article:
Dame Lynn added that, while those showing support for Hamas or the Lebanese Hezbollah movement - both of which are proscribed terrorist organisations in the UK - could face prosecution, "what we cannot do is interpret support for the Palestinian cause more broadly as automatically being support for Hamas or any other proscribed group".

Yes, you can interpret the Palestinian cause more broadly if they are engaged in hate crimes in UK. Yes, you can.

This is definitely something I don't want to talk about at length. I also don't want to be misunderstood - no-one agrees with what Hamas did.

So that said, there is a stark difference between how people, in general, see the Israel/Palestine dynamic in the UK and across Europe, as compared to the US. The US is very much pro Israel in just about every regard. In Europe and the UK, I'm not entirely sure of the stats, but I'm imagine it'll be 50-50, if not 60-40 in favor of Palestine and the Palestinian people.

Again - this is a general thing, NOT, with regard to the latest incident.

It's just one of those things where the US and the UK, and a wider Europe, have different ideas.

It could be a coincidence, but it is certainly suspicous. The media will play everything up as some sort of hate crime or political dispute. And they won’t bother to get the facts before they report it as such. Shame on them.

If she had been a politician, they would be looking for a boyfriend, or some other pernicious scandel.
Perhaps not a politician but known in the community being an activist. She also did work for the state attorney general. She could've been trying to help someone personally like the activist in Philadelphia who got killed by that person.

As of the latest report I saw, they are still not calling this a hate crime. It will be interesting to see what the investigation uncovers. May she R.I.P.
