PCR or Lateral Flow tests, what is the difference?

PCR tests are checked in a laboratory and the lateral flow you
can do at home, for an instant result.

Does the methods and charges suggest that the lateral flow is
either inferior or no good at all?

The Government here have changed the "after you arrive home"
test, from lateral flow to PCR.

i bought a kit off amazon of the at home one. looks like a pregnancy test. there's two kits in it. you do the one and then wait 36 hrs and do another. i plan to do it when i get home just in case. i've had to go out here a little so i wanna make sure before i go back to work.
