Texas Redhead!!

There is a 5 foot Blacksnake that has taken up residence in the flower bed alongside my workshop. When I'm working outdoors, I have the shop doors open, and 3 or 4 times in recent weeks, I have found that rascal in my shop...it probably likes the cooler concrete floor on these hot days. Now, before I close up for the day, I have to look around everything and make sure that it isn't in the shop...if so, I just take a broom, and "escort" it back outdoors.

That's an ugly centipede! I'm not particularly squeamish about critters, but I discourage centipedes from hanging around the house.

That goes for black widow spiders and Mojave Green rattlesnakes too.

We have scorpions, but they are non-venomous. A county vector-control employee told me to not kill the scorpions, if they get in the house, just to escort them back out.

The scorpion is useful in controlling black widow spiders and centipedes...that makes them a hero, in my book.

I was hoping to see a red haired PERSON !!!! Geeze .......if that was in my house - I'd burn it down ! It gives me the heebie jeebies :p
