Your birthday wishes made my day! I live alone with no company but my pets and although they are great it's also great to get greetings from friends on here.

I also got an email from my brother today who wished me a happy birthday and told me he's tried to call me today and I should empty my voicemail. I wrote back to him and said my voicemail was open and my current numbers. He then called me on my landline. I told him that when I first got my cell that I didn't have the correct number memorized yet and inadvertently gave the him and the rest of the family the wrong number. He understood and sounded genuinely happy to talk to me. He also told me he has tried to call me many times on this old cell number that is no longer working. I'm so glad this got cleared up! This is my brother in LA that I have been longing to hear from from a long time. It was great to hear from him. He is closest to me in age of any of my family members still living.

So, thank you all so much. And again, you all made my day!!

I believe he will because he told me he's tried to call that wrong number (I gave him by mistake) many times and got the message that the voicemail box was full. I look forward to more calls from him. At our ages you never know how many times are left to communicate with one another.

Yes, and I'm still celebrating. Went grocery shopping, masked of course, and got some eclairs for my birthday treat! Yum!

It was a very nice conversation we had. He told me about the woman he dates and more about my nephew and niece which are his kids. I've hardly seen them because of living so far away. I wish I live there in CA but could not afford it.

This is my first time answering you Ruthanne. You sound like a fascinating person. I am married, but also a bit of a shut-in these days and it makes me crazy. I am so glad to have friends like you on SF to exchange ideas and catch up on gossip.

Oh, thanks for that compliment! I sometimes think I'm a bit of a boring person but fascinating sounds much better! :LOL: I look forward to more of your posts on here! And yes, we are all friends on here. I've read some of your postings and have enjoyed them. I've been so much of a shut in that I think I may be developing agoraphobia!;)Trying to make myself get out a little more now. Anyhow, thanks again!
