Hello, So, I've finally entered that time in life when I long to connect to people who are old enough to have useful knowledge, and wise enough to know you can't force people to listen. Makes for pleasant and interesting discussions. FINALLY learned that sugar will kill me, but it'll cripple first so I have a chance of repenting. Only wish I could thank my mentor who was right all along about so many things. That's a little bit of what has happened to me. I look forward to hearing about what has happened to you and how you learned to find the gold nugget in it. Warmly,

Welcome again to you. :)
Thanks for the Intro post here.
Perhaps we could call you Wow, for short.... Or 2Me... ?

I agree, we can't force anyone to listen, nor can we any longer, be forced to listen to others. ;)

That's a little nugget I discovered today, from reading your post, and thinking about it.... so that's one of the benefits by participating in a forum like ours. We hope you find it interesting here among us.

hmmmm. Perhaps your short name here, might be Warmly.:)

are you male or female..?.. and whereabouts in this great big world are you posting from... (roughly)

Don't know about gold nuggets only know what works for me.

1. Finances learned early on in our marriage.
Take care of needs then if any money is left then a want if reasonable. We share the decision about what is reasonable.

2. Stress.
Decide if I have control over an outcome or not. If not just forget the issue.

Curiosity about things IMO is common for everyone. The title of the thread is about a drawing. It's a strange combination of life forms open to how each individual interprets it.

My interpretation. A large animal capable of destroying the other 3 but shows affection for the boy. The boy showing compassion for the mole by holding it so the fox can't make a meal out of it. The fox sitting by the boys side represents the way survival can be modified if forced to.

And welcome to the web site.

Thank you, Kalia, for your thoughtful reply. Have to say, a short form was not in my mind. "Wow" is very fun, or maybe "haps". "Warmly" is fun as well. Will think about it.

Thank you, Knight, for sharing your gold and an interesting view of the art. Charlie Mackesy has a book out AND he continues drawing/painting. To cheer his community, he leaves the randomly around town. Good stuff. You have very good points regarding finances and stress. Warmly, Valerie
