Sincere thanks and respect to all of our nurses, doctors and medical workers who have put their own health and the health of their families in jeopardy due to their dedication to help all those suffering and dying in our overflowing hospitals with COVID-19 infections. You are thought of often and appreciated for your selfless sacrifices during this trying time. Hoping the new year brings you all some much needed relief and comfort. 💚

And I will add thanks and appreciation, for all who work with and for, the medical providers,
in order to help support both those staffs and the countless people (patients) who have been badly needing the care facilities to be as well staffed as possible, in every way. The nurses and doctors could not do their best, without the many others who work with them and support those efforts. And the patients are much better responded to, when all of the other workers do their part, as well.

One of our Granddaughters has been a pediatric nurse for several years. In the past year, she has been pressed to help out in the ICU, to help with Covid patients. Many weeks, she winds up having to work 60 hours, and she has little time for anything but work and sleep. I don't know how long she can keep this stressful lifestyle from impacting her.

the support staff is affected as well. not as much as the front liners but we are right behind them as our services are for them and the patients. at any given time on any given day we could spread this to fellow workers and they could end up giving up their lives for it. or the lives of family members. it is difficult to get up and get dressed and face each day wondering if we'll be safe and how many will die today. it is exhausting and trying on our mental well being as well as the physical. but we do it for all of you. please, be safe this holiday season. please.

Bless her, I hope she gets some relief from this pandemic soon and can maintain her own health physically, mentally and emotionally. I can't imagine how these caring people are feeling under this burden. Thanks and hugs for her. 🧡

I appreciate you Marci, and all you do. I doubt I could ever fill your shoes in this situation. Please take care of yourself, I honestly hope that next year will be better. Sending love and warm thoughts your way.

i think watching them die is what's hardest on the medical staff. i'm sure they feel helpless being unable to save them.
