Yeah. I saw this some months back. First, we're led to believe coffee is 'bad' for you. Now, it's full of anti-oxidants and keep you going indefinitely.

Between all the coffee we drink, and the wine, we are going to be immortal.........

For years now I've been a firm believer that coffee is healthy, my father drank it all day long, if the spoon stood it was ready. He lived to be 94, smoked 2-3 packs a day but always had his coffee.

Lately as I mentioned on another thread, I have been adding fresh coffee grounds (1 tsp) to my morning oatmeal. Great taste, like an oatmeal toffee.

No matter wether it was good or bad for you, Ive always had at least one cup of coffee a day. My one cup would equal 2-3 normal cups though.

I can't drink it after 1:00 pm though because it will keep me up.

I can't remember when I started drinking it though, probably when I got married in 1970.

.

I had my first cup of coffee when I was a child camping with my family in the Rocky Mountains.

It was a cold morning... my mom was cooking breakfast on a Coleman stove... and the fresh-brewed coffee smelled so good

I talked my parents into letting me have a cup... yummm.

My first cup was when I was 16 on a deer hunt high in the Book Cliffs. Our camp cook made 'sheepherder's' coffee in an empty 3 lb coffee can. I gave it a try but found it unpalatable, no amount of sugar or cream could get it down. Waited 2 more years before my next attempt. Being broke overseas during the service the only place I could go was the bowling alley’s coffee shop. Coffee was 10 cents a cup & 5 cents for refill, I had 75 cents, so more than 10 cups later I stayed up for 36 hours before I could finally get to sleep. But I did like coffee from that point on.
