Thanksgiving Meal Kits From The Grocery Store

Yes, once years ago. It was from an up scale store we shopped at. I'd say it was close to $100 then. It was about 25 years ago. It was about 2x what something equivalent from a standard grocery store would have cost. It was very good, home made would still would have been better, but it was worth everyone getting the day off.

I just checked to see if my local WalMart offers it and they do. I have not used it and personally wouldn't, but it seems like a good deal. What they have for $40 this year offers a menu of turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, carrots, green bean casserole, mac & cheese, stuffing, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie:

Over the years and a few times, I have ordered a full Thanksgiving meal
from our nice local grocery store. It was good actually, no complaints,
and a good variety of fixings. Maybe just a tad bit too salty for my taste
but all in all, was pleased.
