Growing up,what was the dumbest thing your parents got mad at you for?
 

I was tiny for my age at about 11 or 12...but very into sports, but not supported by my parents at all.

At school sports day I jumped 13' 3'' feet in the long jump... and when I proudly told my mother, I was severely beaten for ''lying'' .

The British Champion Mary Peters had previously jumped 21 feet, ...so it wasn't possible that I could have jumped 13 feet... ....according to my mother

Oh dear!Did you Keep long jumping?
 

I was not to sneeze when being driven in the family car without giving an advance warning to the driver. This was at times easier said than done!
