Never had any interest in a cruse boat vacation. However, if I ever do one it would be on a riverboat!

I was born overseas, military family. We can back when I was three. When my Mom came to live with me when she was 85. She tried to convince me we should go on one of those river cruises in Europe. I looked into it for her and jeez it was 10M a person, that did not count the airfare to get over there. She had the money but I just did not see how we (I) could do that. It was hard enough taking care of her at home.

They are pretty expensive and it would be hard to care for an elderly parent on one I would think. My dad is 89 and I can’t imagine getting him in one. He requires 24 hour care.
