The Baddest Man On The Planet

Uh.......people, there is a good reason the bite didn't affect him.....IF he really was bitten (as opposed to an entertaining tale).
A certain percent of venomous snake bites are what is known as "Dry Bites" where no venom is injected. Usually it's because the snake ate recently & used his venom on his prey. (That's one reason venomous snakes do their best to avoid biting defensively & try to get away from a threat. They know they'll starve if they use their venom biting something they won't eat.)
Snake venom is a very complex brew of proteins & other toxins & It takes several weeks to produce more venom.

Here is an example - a Copperhead bit him - no effect except 2 fang punctures - no venom.

Win it doesn't matter to me why the bite didn't affect him. That he picked up that snake, bit the hell out of it and killed it...then put it around his neck!!! Like they say..."put a fork in me because I'm done!" :ROFLMAO: I would have been running and hollering like a crazy person if that snake had bit me.:ROFLMAO:

I don't mind non-venomous snakes...I often see garter and black snakes roaming on our property, and I leave them along as they keep the local mouse population under control. However, I'm always watching where I go, because we sometimes have a copperhead snake. A few years ago, I found one in my workshop curled up under my tractor. I Very carefully coaxed him out the door and back into the woods.
