The Beer Store is run by the Ontario Provincial Government, and their stores sell beer, with over 450 stores across the Province. Now customers can order beer on line using the Beer Store website. The Skip The Dishes drivers have been trained using the Smart Serve system. Customers have to be at least 18 years of age, pay up front with a credit card on line , and present ID at the door when the delivery arrives. Customers can make their selection from more that 1,000 types of beer in cases of 6, 12, or 24 cans or bottles. link. More than 250 The Beer Store locations in Ontario are now on SkipTheDishes (msn.com)

I think this is a good idea, for those that don't drive or are physically handicapped. JimB.

The Beer Store is controlled by the province of Ontario but is privately owned.

We can have alcohol delivered in BC.

More beer, more booze, more pot, more cannabalis, more cocaine, more heroin. Yaaaaaaaaa! Anything to dull the mind and to stop the public from thinking too much. Politicans love this and the government loves the tax revenue pouring in.

We have various delivery options in my area, but I’ve never used them.

Some are free, some have a flat delivery fee and some have an up charge.

Today it’s all done by credit card, but it reminds me of kids ordering a bottle from the local liquor store and telling the delivery man that mom is in the shower. 🤭

In the days before all of the delivery apps. and services some of the local cab companies would do small errands, pick up a bottle, dry cleaning, prescriptions, a carton of cigarettes, a food order, etc...
