Looks like I miss read this. The Interoceanic Highway from Peru to Brazil is open, and has been for about 10 years. It's the spur that's to go through Paraguay's Gran Chaco that is not yet open. Now I just need to figure out a feasible and reasonably safe way to do it.

Anyone here ever travel the roads in that part of the world?
