For two decades, barista Garry White has cruised Middle Harbour on his boat making coffee for sailors, swimmers, kayakers, beachgoers and nudists. He's often told he has Sydney's best job. Mr White trained as a barista after retiring from his job as an agricultural economist and political consultant...........

He's often told he has Sydney's best job.

I would tell him so.
Back in the early 90s a good friend bought his second coffee shop and asked me to manage it for him. An absolute prerequisite was having to learn the barista's job. I knew after 2 days that wasn't going to happen.

It's amazing how many businesses cater to ships in big port cities. In Detroit, small boats ply the river providing goods and services to the vessels waiting their turn at the docks or to proceed up or down the river.

The Archdiocese of Detroit has a priest whose main job is to go out to the ships to perform marriages, christenings, hold masses and perform other rites.

There are doctors and nurses who do ship visits.

Many of the ship workers cannot go ashore for various reasons, immigration or legal, so the services must come to them.
