The classic1944 movie "Waterfront"

I will add two books about her, which are absolutely brilliant and accurate.

Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody Knows - Lady Colin Campbell

The Real Diana - Lady Colin Campbell

Haven't seen it. Does Youtube offer it?

It's quite a famous film from the period. I don't know why the Wikipedia article is so meager.

It is a Youtube video. Turn on the video. Keep the video in minimum mode, hit play and the video address is displayed on the top of the screen. If you can't bring it up I'll forward the header to you.

I don't know too much about them, but I'm thinking it's interesting that American film makers made movies based on plots related to World War 2 during the war period. Casablanca and this one you've recommended being a couple of them. I'd think European countries might have been so ravaged by warfare destruction (not to mention Axis occupation, in some cases) that they might not have cared to do that until the war was over. But I'm not sure.

A large number of movies depicting off shore conflicts were actual declassified films. Some blended videos were docudramas and a fair number were pop culture depictions of actual events. Most production companies with ethics to let the viewers know the movie is pure fiction and not based on actual vents.

BTW I see you reside in the Western Rockies. Is that in close proximity to the Prairies?

Not really. Actually, I'm westward across the Great Divide. I'm a couple of valleys over from those on the west slopes of the Rockies. Alberta is the province on the east, and as you get further into Alberta you're out of the mountains and the higher hills and in the prairies. Due to twisting mountain roads, it takes quite a few hours to drive from here into the prairies.

The reason I asked becaus I saw a docu-drama about the reallistic timeline for survivable foodstuffs in and around the Praries. Very obering to say the least.

Take care.
