I understand the devil as a negative force who tempts or persuades humans to conduct themselves in opposition to god’s will. Ultimately god’s will is to defeat the angel of darkness in the battle between good and evil and the recruitment of souls for the war.
If this is true and temptation has nothing to do with character, evil exists because of temptation, therefore people are not, temptation causes people to act on evil.
Since the beginning of time there has been conflict, but before that the role of conflict created the earth and its inhabitants. I believe electricity was involved with various gasses and chemicals the Big bang theory. Did the forces of good and evil create the Big Bang theory? Or was it somethng else?
Defining conflict when conflict defines itself by character by example between Christian and nonbeliever. Are these two driving forces that created it all? Or was it something else? Life thrives on conflict, otherwise without conflict there would be no beginning or end-limbo
It seems to me the devil and god are necessary for each other’s existence. God needs the devil and the devil needs god to be effective. Can humans exist without the temptation of the devil and the restitution of god? Might as well cross the devil and god out altogether by skipping the middleman.
