The disappearing hat

In preparation for an upcoming cruise to Alaska, I bought a knit hat and gloves on Amazon. Both came. I put them away, in the same place, or so I thought. Thinking about packing, so I found the gloves but the hat is nowhere to be found. Looked everywhere. No hat. Sigh. I guess I’ll be bringing back a souvenir hat. 🙄 I swear, a gremlin lives in this house and randomly hides stuff, then makes it reappear when it’s no longer useful. No doubt the hat will turn up in August.

I bought an expensive garden pruning shears last year. I always had cheap ones that broke so I thought this time I'm getting good ones. This spring they were no where to be found so for Mothers Day I got a new pair - even better than last years and I put those in a safe place, too. Somewhere in my house there are two pairs of fine pruning shears....probably having a few laughs at my expense.

Try your winter coat pockets. That's where I found mine.

@Gaer indeed we are. A 9 day cruise in and out of Seattle. Bucket list! Going to see Butchart Gardens in Victoria as well. That’s been on my bucket list for 40 years.
If you are going to Butchart you might like to try Government House on Rockland they have the most beautiful gardens, as well as abkhazi gardens. But you are probably only in Victoria for a few hours. Enjoy your visit to Victoria.

This happens to me too often, especially with grocery items....I've been known to dig through the trash and crevices in the car looking for disappearing groceries.

Buschart Gardens is a wonderful place, that started out as a gravel quarry, way back when. You will enjoy it. JimB.
