This afternoon, I was streaming a show I missed on the History Channel, and came across a phrase I hadn't heard in years....The Doomsday Clock. I looked it up and found some interesting references to events in our history over the past 70+ years. This "clock" is a symbol representing the likelihood of a global catastrophe.
For 2020, this symbol is set at 100 seconds to Midnight....the closest it has been to midnight since it was started in 1947....closer even than during some of the events of the Cold War. The reason given for 2020 is this Corona Virus, and a possible threat from Iran.
